Happy Hispanic Heritage Month #BellusTribe ! This month we will be highlighting some of our amazing Latinx educators and students! Today we'd like to feature Danny Garcia, one of our Cosmetology Educators! We asked Danny what he loves most about being an educator at Bellus, and we really love what he has to say! What has been your favorite part about being an educator at Bellus?... " I definitely enjoy working with different people. Hearing their stories, their views. I have always shared with my students that we must be understanding of others by listening with no judgment, only then we can really know a person, their behaviors/actions. Ive always tried to lead with positivity and good energy to fill the environment no matter what student I work with." You do such a fantastic job at embracing your multi-passionate, creative spirit and as a result inspire others to do the same. Can you share more about that? "I feel I have a welcoming aura so to say. Growing up on cartoons like the Thundercats or Sailor moon also video games like Zelda or Final Fantasy, i have always had an open mind of facing challenges and not giving up. Helping out those in need and also being a friendly hand for everyone. The best advice I can give is never give up even if the task at hand seems impossible. Look at different points of views and come up with different points of attack lol. Our journey is only as difficult as we make it, So why not make fun and learn from each day. A motto of mine is 'Glass is always half full.' Theres always a bright side, even if we can't see it yet :)" . We're so proud of our Latinx community at Bellus!
