For all the women out there, remind yourself you are beautiful. Society and social media can tend to create a fake world of glamor, sex appeal, filtered to remove normal imperfections and more. I wanted to post this today because I had a conversation with a client today regarding self limitation. Most of us probably carry around a great deal of baggage from childhood. Creating a limited mindset, low self-worth and an open door for doubting ones true ability.... When this occurs we tend to make things harder and more challenging than needed. The end result is usually failure since the limited mind can’t not see past the first challenge they face. I told my client DO NOT EVER DOUNT YOURSELF, YOUR ABILITY OR WHAT YOU’RE CAPABLE OF. When you find yourself with a mindful of doubt - you must at the exact point do a 180 with your thoughts and create a mindset of already achieving the task in front of you. This works with fitness, work, family and other aspects of life. It’s a mental game and you are the only one that can change your thinking. Being aware is the first step, then challenge yourself with small obtainable goals. For a great way to build the structure of your meals I tell my clients to use a salad plate and divide it into three sections. 1/3 Protein 1/3 Veggies (variety and slightly cooked is the key) 1/3 Clean carbs like jams or red skin potatoes. ... Once you build your structure of your eating then you can play around with the content of your meals. It’s also best to NOT eat the same thing day in and day out. If you want to see a change in yourself then you have to make a change in your lifestyle to accomplish that goal. 1. Water 2. Rest 3. Consistency 4. Nutrition intake 5. Positive attitude 6. Surround yourself with fit people. Apply these rules and if you want me to send you my approved list of foods - staying within my list of foods you’ll never have to worry about weight gain, inflammation, chronic disease and lack of energy. For all you Salmon lovers out there, try my recipe for Salmon Kale Salad. Step #1 Marinade the salmon by squeezing 1 lemon over the top, cracked black pepper, a dash of pink Himalayan salt, honey and cayenne pepper.... Step #2 Chop up and devein your kale, squeeze another lemon or two over the kale, add cracked black pepper and a little onion or garlic to taste. Step #3 Cook 1 cup of white quinoa Prepare the pomegranate, deskin Step #4 Add the quinoa to the kale that sat overnight - the kale should be much easier to eat now with a tart lemon taste. Also add the pomegranate! When your opponent attacks you, Systema allows them to see some sort of structure they expect to be there with tension. The arm to arm contact is so light they can barley feel it and throws their balance off without them knowing it. They basically fall into your trap and then multiple strikes can occur before the attacker can defend against them....
