Some of you may already be onto what's coming next. But it's time for me to make it official. Once our doors closed, Nick and I realized we had some decisions to make. I took some time to get quiet and still to listen and feel into what I wanted to come next. Doing my best to honor the voices of the shoulds and shouldn’ts, the fears, insecurities and doubts and then gently set them aside to really listen to what was underneath. Then I had a pretty pivotal conversation wit...h David Nichtern. He’s served as a trusted friend, a teacher and something of a business mentor over the years. He put it to me very simply: Eat what’s on your plate. Whoa. What a teaching that was. The perfect pithy statement to hit me right between the eyes. Very David. Very Chögyam Trungpa. I realized that if I wanted it to happen, then it was up to me to do it. I may no longer have a building to practice in, a business partner, a team of desk staff or teachers, but I have me. Turns out I’m what’s on my plate. So I got to work. Because I just couldn’t not. Because Samarasa is a deep and quiet vision born straight from the heart. And I’m staying with her through all of her forms. So after months of creating new curriculums, filming on-demand classes, building an entirely new online platform (with an online community ) I feel excited to share it with you, especially those of you that I now have the opportunity to work with now that we’re not limited by a physical location. My goal is to make these weekly practices easy and accessible for all, so membership is extremely affordable and loaded with offerings.
