Do you know what's inside your cup? Is a live talk that explains the science behind a great cup of coffee. San Diego City College SACNAS chapter is in collaboration with Seven Seas Roasting Co. to bring you this new way of understanding how coffee beans are shipped from small island villages, how coffee beans are roasted, how coffee bean grinds are breewed, and how the acidic/ alkaline properties behave to make a great cup of coffee, whether is a cold nitro brew or a hot stea...ming one. There will be a live science demonstration of a siphon brewing apparatus that was built by community college students with new laboratory equipment. One will have the opportunity to see Chemistry applications like ideal gas laws, learn about physical & chemical properties, and more... Today we will be having our Lab coats & goggles sale. Please come support us. We will be located in the Science ( S ) building 1st floor at San Diego City College. Lets help them go to the Conference that has so many opportunities for STEM majors and give them a life changing experience.
