Hello Jerry, Registration for the 2020 Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program closes in two weeks. As an EBB Participating Homeowner who has either completed a retrofit or is in the process of strengthening your house with a code-compliant seismic retrofit, you can help make your community more resilient by telling your neighbors, friends and family about the program. EBB has funds for an additional 4,400 grants of up to $3,000 for this year's program.... It's not a matter of "if'' an earthquake will happen but "when". Scientists say there is a greater than 99 percent chance of a strong earthquake striking California in the next 30 years. Please encourage others to take the steps you have taken to protect your family and your house. Registration is open now through March 19, 2020.
