For this #TeammateTuesday we're featuring @jesska_smith but really we should have saved it for #womancrushwedensday !!! Jess joined the Suns' in 2015 and has played ruck and in the forward line. She is a brick house and has been known for her tackling. Jess is a power lifter and has made a home for herself working and training with Mark Bell - Super Training Gym.... During Covid, she focused on her mental and physical well-being. She revamped her training & eating habits and the work has paid off! Congratulations to all our players who participated in the virtual Nationals, many of whom placed in the top 10 for each competition! Also, 2nd place finishes on the team challenge for both our men & women! Carn the Suns'!!!

Many thanks to the United States Australian Football League for hosting a great virtual Nationals. While we couldn't be at the fields, this was a fun alternative with distinguished panelists and enjoyable commentary!!

For this #teammatetuesday, we're highlighting, the one, the ONLY, JULIAN! @jskiiin is an elementary P.E. teacher who has been playing footy for four years and has three seasons of defense under his belt. Julian has been spending his pandemic time upping his disc golf game and teaching kids over zoom.

We're starting off our #teammatetuesday with introducing our very own @fakulay This would have been Faku's 3rd year with us if we had a season. Off of the field, he works as a product manager for a surgical robotics company. He's been spending his free quarantime hiking, camping and working out. Thank you for your commitment to our team on the field as a player, and off of the field as our treasurer.
