Saturday Client Spotlight If you're a morning person, you're likely to have started off your day with JOE, our January Rider of the Month! He brightens our mornings with such a positive light (and ), is an inspiration to us all, and most recently crushed our 2 Year Anniversary Challenge winning first place! Find out why he loves Rush below! "I found RUSH when I saw a video on Youtube that got my competitive juices flowing. I was born running on double digits and RU...SH fills that void of energy need. Last October I placed 9th of 344 at the Catalina triathlon. There was nothing level about that competition except the swim. As we were going up the mountains I never touched the saddle and attribute my RUSH classes to that personal victory. The instructors are very well balanced and keep a good eye on the energy in the room (or on the turf). There are not many men in our classes, but at 55 years old I feel very fortunate to be included and encouraged by those around me. I day dream about instructing a geriatric class one day - ‘Come on, Mildred, you can hit all four corners! Frank is waiting for you at home.’ I have a very supportive family that smiles & laughs at my antics but by committing to an unlimited membership, the improvement in strength, & stamina feels like the growth potential is unlimited. As a new year of competition arrives I will continue with my classes regardless, knowing that the improvement of the workouts and discipline is good for all aspects of life. So the way I got into Rush was through an ad on Instagram haha I kept telling one of my good friends that I really wanted to try spin and wanted her to do it with me! I ...instantly fell in love! I love the atmosphere, love the instructors and most importantly, I love the challenge! Each time I come in it’s always something different. You're on a bike that goes no where, yet you're dancing like you're on stage in front of a huge crowd! She loves being a wife, eating desserts and xxxtra hot Cheetos, and is passionate about Chris Brown! Pam works at a Pharmacy by day and just recently, a Rush instructor by night. She fell in love with Rush and sweating it out with its amazing community for over 2 years and never looked back! She can’t wait to dance it out with you on a bike with beats playing, pushing you to your limit, and mostly just having fun working up a sweat. Say hello to Erika, another one of our newest instructors! She's been riding with Rush Cycle since 2017, and recently took it one step further and became an instructor. She's a proud mama bear of two rambunctious little boys and a sweet pup and married her long-time love almost nine years ago. When she's not tending to family life at home or counting beats on a bike, she's counting jelly beans at her desk. You guessed it, she's also an accountant! You can expect music in... her classes, with a mix of trap, hip hop, and EDM, so get ready to dance! Meet Hailey! One of the newest faces on our instructor team is a San Marcos native. She fell in love with working out when she realized how much fun it could be when you add in dance moves and bomb music She started going to Rush Cycle as a New Year’s Resolution and a weekly workout eventually turned into not only a hobby, but a dream job.
