Hello parents! Did you know that one of the best ways to make a difference in your child’s school experience is to volunteer with the PTO? As we plan ahead for a back-to-normal school year, we are currently nominating people to fill critical PTO officer and lead positions for 2021-22. Please take a moment to learn about all the volunteer opportunities available and nominate yourself or others to get involved! https://drive.google.com//1ur31-0rY_qT7sYcQEtamqYqi1/view

Attention 8th grade parents: Class of 2021! Dear 8th grade parent community, We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of 15 parents working on options to celebrate the Roy Cloud class of 2021. With still so many unknowns, we are hoping for the potential to gather outdoors, gifting each student with unique keepsakes and celebrating their many accomplishments. The class of 2020 spent approximately $8000 celebrating the 8th graders during the lockdown last year - with no gathe...rings or celebrations. By comparison, due to the impossibility of no public fundraising events, our current funds are $3200, and so we desperately need everyone’s help! We are asking each family to consider donating $100 toward a graduation fund. You may donate using the direct donations link below, and funds will go directly into the 2021 8th Grade Graduation Fund, managed by PTO treasurer Jim Balestieri . We have made it easy to give the amount that works for you and your family, but sincerely hoping many of us will find a way to give the full $100 to mark this very special milestone for our kids. This is a timely and urgent need, allowing us to plan for celebrating our students. Therefore, we ask you to please make your contribution before Wednesday, March 17. Contact Nancy Mein if you prefer to make a check donation. Shortly, your 8th grader will be receiving a survey asking for input on music and themes, helping to build much needed excitement and anticipation, with a reminder that they have not been forgotten! With sincere appreciation, Yvonne Sarles Nancy Mein Jim Balestieri DONATE HERE! See more

Roy Cloud is honoring the 19th Annual Inclusive Schools Week, December 7-11, joining classrooms, schools, and communities throughout the world. Inclusive Schools Week (ISW) highlights and celebrates the progress schools have made in providing a supportive and quality education to all students, including those who are marginalized due to disability, gender, ethnicity, geography and language. It also provides an important opportunity to discuss what else needs to be done to ensure that schools continue to improve their ability to successfully educate all children. ISW is sponsored by the Inclusive Schools Network at Stetson & Associates, Inc.
