Hey th...ere's an expired permit for a swimming pool from 2002 - we need a letter from the owner to get this taken care of - me pulling up MLS listing to prove there is no pool there - accepted a letter from me as contractor representative. Hey, are you even authorized to represent the contractor? Me - I filled out a letter at one point for that - Bora found it in the archives! Three separate phone calls to the designer to settle questions - hooray for Darren Davis of Draftect for picking up my calls! Okay, now go over here to this computer and open up an account to electronically pay - oh crap, more passwords and email verification - ugh - what happened to writing a check? I hear Bora telling his co-worker he needed to leave and going through the file with him. Me: Bora, don't leave - I am almost finished paying! Swear! Victory! Fees paid! Permit granted! Job copy plans certified. 1.5 hours at the counter! I was like a hero when I called the hubby and told him it was handled. "You are getting all my permits for me from now on," he said.
