It is with great sadness we share news of Honorable Jeffrey King. JEFFREY KING passed away on April 28, 2022, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. Profess...ionally, Jeff was a trial lawyer, member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, city mayor, trial court judge, appellate court judge, and private arbitrator and mediator. At home, Jeff devoted himself to family: to his wife, Pamela; to his three sons Oliver, Jonathan, and Justin, all three of whom he inspired (maybe cajoled) into the legal profession; and to his grandchildren and daughters-in-law. Jeff loved nothing more than sitting in his chair at the end of the day, glass of wine in hand, "presiding" over his family-_often with Jackson Browne, the Beatles, or Queen playing in the background.

Honorable Charles D. Field Retired Judge, Riverside County Superior Court It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of retired Judge Charlie Fie...ld. He passed away on October 29, 2021 at the age of 85. From 1963 to 1990, Judge Field practiced law with the Riverside firm of Best Best & Krieger as a senior partner specializing in labor and employment law. He was appointed to the Riverside County Superior Court in January 1990, served in Juvenile Court and then the Civil Division, and retired in 2004. Over a 40-plus year legal career, he made time for community involvement that included serving on various boards of directors and in other capacities. Such local committees and organizations included the UCR Alumni Association, UCR Foundation, Citizens University Committee, The Press Enterprise, Riverside Arts Council, Riverside Arts Foundation, Riverside County Law Library, State Bar of California, and the Public Service Law Corp. of Riverside County Bar Association. The Riverside legal community mourns the loss of Judge Field, said Neil Okazaki, President of the Riverside County Bar Association. His career as an accomplished attorney, admired judge, dedicated nonprofit board member, and trusted elected official is inspiring to all who knew him. We are thankful for his legacy and offer our deepest condolences to his wonderful family. Funeral services are pending.
