As COVID 19 is on everybody’s mind, they may let their guard down when it comes to email scams. Many of you probably receive regular email that appears to come from a financial institution that you may or may not do business with. This is sample one such email. Besides the fact that my security calls it out as span or I may not have an account with the company, there are two other red flags. The first is that this is not an Amex email address; the domain is aexp.com. Secondly, such an alert would not be broadcasted to multiple emails. It should show your email address alone. We have the advantage that we own a domain name so we can use a different email address with a different password for every company.
