I'm counting my blessing. Over 200 friends, colleagues, & strangers raised over $41,000 to make Republikasf a reality. To be honest I was scared we wouldn't mak...e it, but in the last 48hrs we raised over 50% of hour goal! Big shout-out to Pearl Parmelee and Sabrina Pacheco for raising over $14k. Sonia Delen & Polly Cruz for pushing the community at the last moment and Jose Pecho and the SF Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce for putting us over the top. The Filipino Google Network did an amazing job rallying around the cause and getting their company to match their donations. I can't forget Dennis Villafranca, Evan Kidera, Deanna Sison, Tim Luym, Reina Montenegro, The Sarap Shop, James Vincent Dayofor providing an amazing spread of food for our Kamayan fundraiser and The San Francisco Filipino Cultural Center for hosting the event. Plus a big thank you to Boston Properties SF and Alexandria Real Estate for giving us those amazing matching grants.
