What do you hope for?

Hi. This is me, holding on to my community for balance and support. It’s also from my yoga teacher 200 hour training. Both of which (reaching out for support and yoga) are mostly done virtually these days. The consistent state of transition that’s occurred inside the last few months has brought a lot of challenges and reminders that balance (similar to love a la @estherperelofficial) is a verb. Largely because change is a process. The outcome of which is uncertain. However, it is only under the constraints of uncertainty that HOPE is able to bloom. What is it that you are hoping for in the midst of the uncertainty?

We are LIVE tonight talking about transitions...we are already moving into the holidays and with Covid...it's just a bit different. We are excited to share some tips and would love to hear any of your questions!

More than ever. Without the ability to recognize and acknowledge trauma, we remain unable to repair its’ impact. To initiate this repair, it is necessary to disrupt and challenge the old rule of silence. To no longer deny the harm that’s been inflicted. To create a different set of healthy protections that match the present and not the past. Because IT IS POSSIBLE TO RESPOND TO OLD PROBLEMS IN A NEW WAY. #therapy #mentalhealthawareness #blacklivesmatter #repair #trauma #uncoveringbias #rupturerepair #breaksilence #traumainformed #holistichealing #holistic #repairnotrepeat #wellness #traumatherapy

Trauma is passed on and kept alive through the ERASURE OF AWARENESS and CULTIVATION OF DENIAL. To bring what’s been suppressed into conscious awareness requires challenging old ways of being. The recognition/validation of pain and injustice is a necessary first step to repair. If we do not speak up about pain and injustice, nothing changes.
