The Small Business Stimulus Grant Program is funded by Board of Supervisors allocated federal CARES Act funding. The grant funding provides economic assistance to help businesses and nonprofit entities impacted by COVID-19. Financial assistance will be allocated to eligible, qualified small businesses and nonprofit entities with final award recommendations made by individual district offices based on the availability of funds, program guidelines, and the submission of all required information and supporting documentation. Grant Application Now Open - Check your Eligibility & Apply Applications are now open for eligible businesses, subject to availability of funding. SDG&E Crews Focus on Restoration Efforts. As of Tuesday, 12/8 at approx. 8:00 p.m., the number of customers without power due to Public Safety Power Shutoffs has decreased to ~5,100. SDG&E crews and personnel have worked to inspect power lines and restore power to thousands of customers in areas where winds have calmed and where it was safe to inspect the equipment for damage before restoration. County emergency responders have a new tool, a Residential Knox Box, to help keep homeowners in unincorporated areas safe during a wildfire or medical emergency. Qualifying residents will receive a lock box at no cost. Inside, a spare house key can be stored for access by County Fire during emergencies. County Fire will install the box. Learn more:
