It’s great to be back working with the youth that needs us the most! Another succesful clinic in the books today.

It feels good to be back in Boise!! Thank you to the volunteers who came out to coach today and the pizza donation.

PAI 2020 Recap It goes without saying that 2020 has been difficult to navigate, and challenged our organization to think differently. We were forced to cancel our annual golf tournament in April, which raises 75% of our annual budget, along with all other fundraisers. We also had to cancel our face-to-face clinics because of the gathering limitations. We were, however, able to pivot and create a few programs to assist the children we serve. ... 1. We raised over $7,500 to create a meal program in Portland and Boise, which served over 1,200 family meals, beginning in March! 2. We partnered with the Nike Outlet and Dick’s Sporting Goods stores to get discounted pricing on athletic supplies and equipment. We had children apply for their needs and had credit on file at each location to cover the cost, if it was approved. 3. Our Philippines partner, Gentle Hands, has been forced to quarantine the entire orphanage (80+ children) due to the immuno-compromised children, and lack of heath care in their area. If the virus entered their walls, it would be devastating and uncontrollable. We approved a $5,000 donation that was used to build a large playground for the kids to play on, while they face the daily challenges of quarantine. 4. Our Mexico partner, Build a Miracle, has been providing an outlet every day to the community they serve. A few years ago, we raised $25,000 to help build a sport court for the community. We now pay for a full time instructor, Orlando, who runs clinics and classes every day for kids living in the community. The programs Orlando provides are as important as ever, and support hundreds of children every week. 5. We have been focused on reducing our storage fees and moved towards a drop shipping structure, where we ship supplies as needed, versus storing them. This has saved in expenses, and helped us weather the storm of COVID and the greatly reduced donations. 6. With our new drop shipping structure, we have sent countless supplies and equipment to each of our locations to assure the children have an outlet through athletics, and the means necessary to be active. With all of that said, we are excited to see what 2021 has in store for us. We will continue to pivot and provide in-person clinics when it is allowable. Our mission is to love and impact the youth that need us the most, and nothing will change that. 2020 has brought many challenges and required PAI to cancel many of our planned events due to COVID19. We wanted to continue to support athletics and the foster community so we decided to sponsor children in need of equipment. Jaden received a new pair of shoes and wanted to thank our donors. Thank you donors for helping us make a difference in this challenging time.

Progression Athletics International & Papa Murphy's provided 50 pizzas each for Rockwood and Inukai Clubs this week, with more coming! They are generously giving us about $6,000 worth of pizza for families to take home. #ThankYou

Today we received this thank you video from Gentle Hands. We are so grateful for our partnership with them and having the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these children. We started a martial arts program for them in 2017 and the impact has far exceeded our expectations. Youth Development Through Sports

Yesterday was incredible. We partnered with the Rockwood Boys and Girls Club in Portland, OR for an Olympic Day. We had over 130 kids in attendance, 25 generous volunteers and 10 activity stations. Thank you to the volunteers and donors who make events like this possible.
