Red Dot Fitness remains OPEN under current restrictions! Purple Tier goes into effect on Tuesday, 11/17 for Santa Clara County. Operationally we are still open for our clients/members and are making a few schedule adjustments to accommodate everyone outdoors. Since reopening our doors in September, Red Dot Fitness has continually operated WELL UNDER the Red Tier 10% capacity restrictions required for Fitness Centers mandated by the State of CA and the County of Santa Cl...ara. Additionally, we worked hard with the city through the summer and made a substantial financial investment to secure our outdoor space in preparation for this moment...and, avoid disruption of our clients' and members' routines for staying healthy. We will continue to maintain our low density model including Personal Training, Group Class, and Wellness Services in the safest and most caring manner possible under the new Purple Tier status. Things to know: Group Classes still have a maximum of 6-8 participants when necessary to comply with social distancing protocol Open Gym Access is still controlled through the appointment-only system & will be adjusted based on hours of daylight available to safely operate Social Distancing Protocol allows us to have 20 people at a time in our outdoor space (well under our typical daily indoor operation) Weather Conditions may impact class schedules and training sessions please regularly check the class schedule and/or with your coach for any schedule modifications. Virtual classes via Zoom and training sessions will be provided when weather is prohibitive (email and text communication will be provided). Our Outdoor Gym is OPEN! We’re not going to bore you with all the typical fitness cliches, like 6-week challenges, 30 day diets, a squat challenge, or New year...new you. That said, it's that time of year when folks commit to start moving more because they spent the holidays consuming more food and alcohol than typical. And, by now you know the end result of that combination...specifically for YOU.... Here's the reality it's always about choices. Choose to be aware and choose to take action NOW so you don't come out the other side of these next couple of months wishing you had addressed the following a couple of months prior. AWARENESS: Do you know what your health & fitness plan is for at least the next 3 months? With your current goal(s) in mind, what's next? What have you previously done in your fitness and dietary history during and post holiday season? What are your priorities and what are your non-negotiables specific to goal achievement? DESIRE: What is your upcoming schedule...work, life, you-time? Covid has certainly changed a thing or two...do you need to begin planning differently? What commitment of time, energy, and/or focus are you truly willing to hold yourself accountable to? How bad do you want "it"? BOTTOM LINE: You're a spouse/partner, parent/guardian, daughter/son, professional, home-maker, or an otherwise regular person who has a unique set of goals, needs, and circumstances. This makes you NORMAL. And, normal folks just like you achieve amazing things every single day. The only thing stopping you from being the best version of you, is you. So, take ACTION! Have you asked for help? You will need support. A friend, a buddy, or a coach to hold you accountable. You're not weak if you ask for help... you're normal. We don’t WIN in life on our own, despite what the social media influencer's daily posts might suggest.... 4 Build your support system now so that when you don’t have the bandwidth to stay motivated, you have your team to hold you up. BONUS TIP: Having an empathetic teammate who can HELP hold you accountable is much different than having someone who enables you to accept that your history is your destiny. Don't make the mistake of putting someone on your TEAM that will simply sign-off on your bull$#!t when history might begin repeating itself. Let that one sink in for a minute. The bottom line: Food, calories, macros, supplements, sleep, stress management, exercise all of these components will be critical in the big picture and process for improved health. BUT, none so critical as the time you spend now establishing the right platform for your future success.

There are a few open spots in BURN at 7am tomorrow! So what is BURN? These 45-60 minute HIIT classes consist of circuit-style cardiovascular training utilizing a combination of treadmills, rowers, skiers, climb-mills, bikes and targeted endurance and aesthetics movements on the floor. These combos keep your heart rate elevated and send your caloric-BURN through the roof! BURN sessions are a perfect compliment to your weekly strength and conditioning sessions and/or for anyone looking to boost their cardiovascular and endurance threshold. If you’ve tried other choreographed group cardio sessions that mimic a dance party on a bike or treadmill and you want less fluff and prefer a bit more grit, check out BURN!

We're officially in the ORANGE tier! Moving from 10% to 25% allowable capacity means the following: More Group Class Offerings throughout the day starting Monday 10/19! (see the schedule #linkinbio) Cardio is back! Look for resumed access to our equipment and classes like BURN and Direct HIIT.... Our Private Showers will be back open soon. NOTE: 25% allowable occupancy is 2X (DOUBLE) the amount of actual occupancy we would typically operate with day-to-day PRE-COVID-19. Our low density model will continue to be maintained. As a reminder: Group Classes still have a maximum of 6-8 participants to comply with social distancing protocol. Open Gym Access is still controlled through the appointment-only system and will be adjusted often based on Personal Training & Group Class traffic. Social Distancing Protocol allows us to have 150 sq ft per client and 250 sq ft per staff member. We are allowed 33 clients and 22 staff members in the building at one time. Also, our OUTDOOR GYM will open next week! Stay tuned for more Small Group Classes and community services.
