I really love when clients bring their vintage carriers to consults! This denim @babybjorn is , I mean, it’s DENIM! (I obviously grew up in the 90’s ) Receiving a hand me down carrier can be wonderful. It gives you an opportunity to try something before deciding to buy your own! If it works it saves you ! A few things to remember when using a hand me down carrier: ... 1Check for wear! If the seams or stitching are coming undone, it’s probably time to retire. 2Holes are a no go. Even a tiny pinhole can turn into a big hole. 3 Check buckle function- plastic does degrade over time depending on use. Make sure everything still makes the clicking sound and it doesn’t have any cracks or missing prongs. Did you receive any hand me down carriers?

The eastern most area of the San Gabriel Valley is often forgotten as part of LA, which means, the pickings are slim for caregiver classes, events, and other learning opportunities. While @BabywearingLA has been hosting free meetings here for 5 years, 2019 has seen some major growth in community centered events for caregivers! This growth makes my burst!
