Client Testimonial | Rick (270 lbs 208 lbs!) This place is amazing! I have been twice. The beginning of my weight loss journey and now, near the end, If there is ever an end. :) The staff is outstanding. They will modify to adapt to any broken parts or disabilities you might have. I have a bad foot, 2 lower back surgeries, and a horrible shoulder. They did not skip a beat in creating custom exercises for me to succeed. Everyone is super friendly and you receive more suppo...rt than you ever imagined. The exercise consists of all sorts of things. Bands, balls, weights, hiking, kayaking, boxing, rock wall climbing, etc... Don't let some of these things intimidate you, they ALWAYS have a modification or substitute. Without question or judgment. The food and kitchen staff is amazing. They are friendly and supportive 100% of the time. You will be shocked at how great the food is and then find out that it does not contain all the crap you have been eating for years. Cooking demos and education come along with the sweat. Katie will educate you on your food and how to institute a healthy approach that you can adapt to your own life. Page is the most amazing woman. She will help you figure out the "why's" you might eat vast quantities, the shame, the guilt, the secret eating, etc... If it is in your head, this woman can help you sort it out. She did it for me. This woman is phenomenal!!! Sam kept me going when I thought my lungs were going to explode on double peaks. She is a ballerina and actually started doing spins and twirls to keep me moving and distracted. Who does that??? What a sweetheart! She also modified exercises to accommodate my broken parts, while always pushing me to succeed. She is sensational! All the trainers and overall staff are incredible. Page and Sam are two of the women in this place that created a healthy foundation that I locked in on to succeed. They are both amazing women. Each using their specialized skills to go above and beyond in helping me. I can honestly say, if it was not for these two superwomen, I would not have succeeded... continued in comments! See more

Yes, ladies and gents- we can eat fruit during this 30-day no sugar challenge. Remember- the challenge is 30 days of no ADDED sugar- so nothing synthetic or unnatural, nothing that doesn't naturally occur in nature, and no adding additional sugars/sweeteners to foods you're eating. So- eating an apple is completely fine, and encouraged. We love organic fruits with all their natural sugars, fiber, and micronutrients. Just eat proper portion sizes and not too much throughout the day. Eating an apple with honey drizzled on top? Not what we want to be doing. Even though the honey may be natural and organic we want to cut that out for now as apples do not naturally come drizzled in honey. Hope this info helps- submit any questions you have through our stories and we'll do o

January Wellness Challenge: No Sugar! To start 2021 off right, we're doing the no sugar challenge- this means no *added* sugar. So yes, you can eat fruit, but we don't want to be eating chocolates and candies and sweetened coffees... even "sugar free" sweeteners should be limited if not completely omitted. Why? Because sugar and sweets trigger a response in our brain for wanting more, and more, and more sweetness. Let's take this month to retrain our brain and help our tastebuds recover from all the holiday treats we've indulged in. The first week is always the hardest, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Screen shot and check off every day you don't consume any added sugar. Happy January!

Peace Out, 2020... It's over. It's not us, it's you. No... we don't want to stay friends. We will say this: Thanks to you, we've learned how to persevere in times of trouble we never could have imagined. Thanks to you, we know exactly the kind of year we DON'T want to have. Thanks to you, we've found ways to be creative and push ourselves to new horizons. So thanks, we guess. 2021, you're up... and we're eager to find all the good, all the silver linings, and all the opportunities you have to offer. Let's work together to make this year MUCH better than the last. Happy 2021!

Tips to get up and get moving earlier! Make your commitment known- tell a friend or loved one about your intention to wake up early and get in a workout to start your day. Letting someone in on your plans help to solidify your commitment and keep you motivated. You might even inspire them to join you and become each others accountability partners! Lay out or wear your workout clothes to bed. This way, you don't have to think about anything when you get up besides tying your shoes and drinking some water. Sign up for a class to help keep you motivated and accountable. There are LOTS of options available online nowadays! What are some ways you keep yourself accountable?
As winter creeps closer, daylight begins to come more scarce. If you're easily affected by the difference in daylight (as most people are) be sure to adjust your schedule to allow more time in the morning/afternoon to get your workout in. Otherwise, you might start to see all that progress you've made slip away. Stay adaptive, keep moving, and keep chasing those goals... and remember to wear gear that makes you more easily seen in the dull and dark colors of the evening!

Having trouble coming up with a motivating way to get active? Go for a walk along a nice path, and every time you come across a bench, perform 10 push ups, 10 tricep dips, and 10 step ups on each leg before walking/jogging along to the next. Happen to see some stairs? Add in a stair run and keep on moving!
Take a moment, take a breath, and focus on your intentions. Remember your commitment to yourself, and answer this question: How will you honor your goals and progress this week?
