We are so proud of our Social Work intern,Taylor, for taking the initiative of starting a reading intervention workshop for those students that need extra help. In just a few weeks, we have seen great progress with the kids’ reading and writing. We are very fortunate to have Taylor this academic year as she is doing amazing things at Pomona Hope. This week our students began a nature painting project in their art workshop. Their workshop leader/intern, Christian Martinez, is teaching them different painting techniques to help them create beautiful artwork of plants/trees found in our community garden. This will be a project that will take the students a couple of weeks to complete. Take a look at what they have so far!

Hello Pomona Hope friends! Interested in volunteering? We are currently in need of 4 amazing volunteers for our traditional in-person program. We are following the necessary COVID safety precautions and maintaining student activities outdoors to keep everyone safe as much as possible. Volunteers assist students with homework and also during their enrichment workshops (STEM, art, garden, etc.). We are also in need of volunteer workshop leaders and/or interns.
