We hope you are all doing well during this unimaginable time in our world. We wanted to give you an update on our situation here at Pollack Orthodontics so that you are all informed. The American Dental Association in accordance with the CDC, the WHO, and other agencies that regulate us have deemed orthodontics as elective dentistry, and we are currently mandated to avoid any elective procedures until April 30th at the earliest. Although this date may change, this presen...ts a challenge for us as we want to facilitate your treatment as efficiently as possible. We will be rescheduling our patients that have appointments during our closure. Additionally, we will be calling our Invisalign patients and scheduling a time when you can pick up your aligners outside our door so that you can continue your treatment without skipping a beat. We will also reach out to our patients in braces that are wearing rubber bands to schedule a virtual appointment with Dr. Pollack where he can monitor your situation and modify your elastic wear as needed. To all of our other patients, please be patient, and realize our hands are tied and we are taking this day by day. If you have any questions or a true emergency related to your orthodontic treatment, please email or call our office. We miss seeing you and look forward to starting back up. During this time of elevated concern regarding the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), we want you to know our patients, families, and employees’ health and safety are our highest priority. To help reduce the risk of exposure to the virus which causes COVID-19, we will be closing our office at Pollack Orthodontics until April 2, 2020. This closure is per American Dental Association and California Dental Association recommendations for providers to limit appointments to only non-el...ective or emergency care.
