When 6,000 homes were destroyed overnight in a matter of hours in Sonoma County, we quickly realized that there is an under-insurance crisis. Time and time again, homeowners who thought they were fully insured when disaster struck found they were covered for far less than what they needed to cover repairs and rebuilding, and the insurance claims process was extremely stressful.
