As we continue to make our way through this difficult time, we wanted to express our appreciation to all our loyal customers. We are grateful for you and the community you have helped to build. PLAYlive Riverside is still temporarily closed until the State of CA gives us the green light to open our doors again. Our hope is that this will happen within the next month or so. In the meantime we would love to hear some ideas about how you’d like to stay virtually connected to the... PLAYLive community. To that end we are trying to put together some ideas for us to meet up virtually and bring the community together. Please leave a comment if any of the following ideas resonate with you. If we get enough responses, we will facilitate the connections and put things together. If you are a tabletop gamer there are virtual games we can play together on Tabletop Simulator. This 3D platform includes most major board games and card games and we can even play Warhammer or other miniature games. This requires you purchase a copy of the software on Steam. For our Magic: The Gathering Community, we can continue to supply Magic Area codes for FNM. We can also include a discord channel where our group can chat in a lobby, while individual games will have a channel for their table. We can facilitate putting together D&D games online using Roll20.com. This could include setting up a new campaign with an experienced DM and offer chances for new players to learn the game. This might also include a live zoom workshop where we do some character creation. For XBox / PC gamers, if you have an Xbox / PC at home, we can setup a special discord channel with different rooms for each competitive game event we want to play. Our typical weekly tournament can be Fortnite and Modern Warfare. If there are better ideas please share in the comments.

We are excited to announce our reopening this Friday June 19. We will have all our X-box ready to go, table top with guards to keep our community safe. We hope to see you this weekend!
