These are pretty enough to impress but simple enough for snacking. Planet Rice California Calrose Vegan Rice Cakes Recipe:... 1 cup uncooked Planet Rice Calrose 1/2 cup aquafaba 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp ancho chile pepper 1/4 tsp habanero salt Garlic olive oil & salt to taste Optional toppings: Basil leaves, sliced tomatoes Cook rice in 1.5 cups of water per 1 cup of rice, or follow rice cooker instructions. Preheat oven to 400 F. Once the rice is cooked, mix in spices and aquafaba. Shape mixture into patties ~ 2" diameter, 1/2" thick. Douse with olive oil and top with salt. Bake 10 min, then flip and bake another 5 min. When patties are golden brown and a little crispy on the edges, top with vegan cheese. Put back into the oven just until cheese melts.
