WHO ARE YOU SUPPORTING??? The next employee we’d like you to meet is Yani, aka @yourfavoritepizzagirl! She’s one of our pizza chefs here at Pizza e Birra. Yani is married to a wonderful Man and is a mommy to 3 sweet girls. Yani is also a Dog mom and recently added a new family member to the pack, Birote (yes like the bread ) @therealbirote the pup is a silly goose of a bull terrier and has helped the family deal with the emotional baggage 2020 has dealt us. ...Her passion for pizza runs deep, she truly enjoys the art of making pizza and even had a tattoo of a pizza slice. Before the pandemic Yani enjoyed playing softball (makes sense since she’s a Padres fan! ) During the pandemic she says she learned to value people’s time and presence. Life is short and time passes fast. Yani and her family love spending time together and watching movies with a bunch of snacks and enjoy being outdoors in nature,specially the beach. Yani’s favorite part of working at Pizza e Birra is how silly we all are and how we can joke around and still get the job done. She likes making up new pizzas for the coworkers to try (and they are yummy!!) She loves receiving feedback on her cooking so come on in when you get a chance and try it out if you haven’t. Our staff and our customers have to be our priority. This new ruling has put many restaurants in between a rock and hard place, and it’s a really hard place. As much as we need the business, especially after closing last week for testing, we are not yet comfortable with opening for full dining service. We have many crew members who live with grandparents and older parents. THE GOOD NEWS We’ve always offered Delivery and Takeout....And we still are! We know it’s not the ...same as getting out of the house but it’s a safer (and warmer!) option for now. If your favorite restaurants aren’t open for on site dining, please do not overlook them. This in no way means they have the extra funds to survive- we need all the business we can get to keep our doors open. We need your support. We are grateful we’ve come this far during the pandemic, and we haven’t come this far to only come this far. As things progress we will check back and let you know when we do decide to offer dining services. Until then, let us deliver to you or call us for a pick-up order.
