For those of you tacticians out there, the new principles of CQB in this surreal Covid world of ours is now: SPEED SURPRISE VIOLENCE OF ACTION... and SOCIAL DISTANCING You just got to love California!!!!

So Covid has been a challenge for us still! We have unfortunately had to cancel a couple of training days for teams in the Bay Area that hopefully we can get back on the calendar when the craziness ends! We DID manage to run a two week Basic SWAT Course in October though and it was a packed class of 30 officers from throughout the State. Most agencies realize that they have to continue to train and getting their officers certified through Basic SWAT is necessary! It is a challenge making necessary accommodations in a tactical course but we made it work! From range work, room entry and building clearing, ballistic shields, hostage rescue, linear assaults, vehicle assaults, chemical agents, down officer rescue, overcoming obstacles and more .... These guys did it all! They are truly the Tip of the Spear!

Happy to announce we just completed out 10th Tactical Breacher Course, having sent some 250 trained breachers back to their teams. As we tell these officers, they are the most important members of their teams because if they can't get their team through the door then nobody else is able to do their job - arresting the suspect, recovering the evidence or saving the hostage! These 24 officers came from throughout the State of California - USAF Beale AFB 9th Security Forces Squadron, Federal Bureau of Investigation SWAT, Sacramento SO, Stanislaus SO, Yuba SO, San Francisco SO, National City PD, Chico PD, Nevada City PD, Antioch PD, Petaluma PD, Brentwood PD, Concord PD and Fairfield PD. And to top it off, these STUDS did it in 106 degree weather all week! My hat's off to you!!
