Please make sure your Medisoft is password protected. Its required by HIPAA. The office manager or provider should maintain a list of log ns and passwords. Do not use your name, childs name or pets name as a password. Definitely do not use 1111 or similar the bad guys love easy targets.... Be compliant! Done risk the bad guys getting all your precious patient information.

Tips for Telemedicine and Teleheath services. To make the patient/client comfortable have a professional back drop for your video chat. Do not use a blank background in the back.... Use the same scene for each call, so it doesn't get distracting and it becomes familiar for the patient/client. Set your camera at upper body level, not just a head. Stay still and not move around during the call, give them the same respect as you would in person. And please, get the patient/clients permission for the Telemedicine and Telehealth services you perform!
