This just in! We have the honor of hosting a true gem in the Pilates community, not only for her brilliant teaching gifts but also her compassionate nature. Debora Kolwey will guide us toward being more at home in our bodies as we explore 'Moving Into Alignment', WED 9/30 at 9:30 am. Sign up in advance via the link and the Zoom link will be emailed the morning of class.
We are so excited to host Cecile Elias as next week's Guest Teacher. She is often giving 'Small Business Shout Outs' on Facebook to help draw attention to supporting other teachers and studio owners. Now it's our turn to highlight HER!! Her community mindedness is right in line with the goals of our Guest Series. We are bridging Pilates communities one week/Guest Teacher at a time so we can practice together, experience fresh teaching perspectives and support each other. Aside from Cecile's generous spirit, she is also a gifted and dedicated teacher. Join us next Wed. 9/16 at 10 am PDT, as she guides an exploration of the connection of your arms into your back and core support.
We have the honor of hosting our friend and beloved mentor, Debora Kolwey as she guides us through an exploration of how we 'work' to find alignment. Are we moving with just the right amount of tension necessary for support or by overly bracing in a way that isn't serving us? This class is intended to help you feel more at home in your body by becoming a better movement listener. Sign up now and a Zoom link will be emailed the morning of class. #deborakolwey #ifpguestteacherseries #internalfirepilates #healthymovement #pilates #embodiedmovement #pilatescenterofboulder #pilatescommunity #supportingsmallbusinesses #pilatesteachers #supportingeachother
Tomorrow, Saturday at 1pm PDT!!! Wunda Chair exercises adapted to the mat with Sharon Gallagher-Rivera. Sign up in advance to get the Zoom link.
We all need to create the time for Self-Care during this challenging time. We are here to help with the compassionate approach of the wonderful Erin Fleming. Not only will she be our GUEST TEACHER on 9/10 at 11 am for a wonderful MELT Class, but she will also be teaching a weekly class on Mondays at 12 noon, PDT starting on 8/31. Join us for a community exhale and then join us each week on Mondays.
Next week's Guest Teacher is my dear friend and colleague, Jennifer McWalters. Wed, 9/2 at 10 am PDT, come and explore when to pace and when to slow down to deepen your experience. Ensuring correct form throughout the mat practice can be challenging when flowing from one exercise into the next. Join Jen in an exploration of yoga-inspired exercises to nail down the skills needed to perform the mat with strength and precision. A mixture of stillness, slow, and dynamic movement, this class will leave you with a deeper connection to the essential movements in the classical Intermediate mat. Props required include a Yoga Block or a small ball or pillow (Block is preferred). Optional Theraband or Strap.

Next up in our Guest Teacher series is the the smart and sassy Heather Arnett. Heather combines Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and fascial release with classical Pilates to help people explore and expand their movement possibilities. Heather's weapons of choice are joy, humor and pleasure seeking. Join us this Wed, 8/26 at 10 am PDT for an exploration of hip hiking and how it may help or hinder your Pilates Mat exercises.

I am pumped to host my inspiring friend, James Crader, as the next presenter in our Guest Series. He is the creator of MoveLab, which is a visionary movement exploration built on biobehavioral science that’s so nerdy we could talk specifics for hours, but so fun you’ll forget to even ask questions. MoveLab is an invitation to investigate strength, mobility, and endurance through the framework of whole-person wellness, guided by the principle that YOU are the expert of your ow...n experience and choices, and a creative genius if given the tools and support. Together we’ll settle in / embody / make shapes / roll around / figure out spatial puzzles / laugh / breathe / de-stress / literally get smarter (yup, it’s a truth) and did I mention laugh? Sign up through the link in advance and the Zoom link will arrive the morning of class. Hope you can join us this week! See more
