Dear Facebook Friends, The food crisis in the Philippines is very dire and real. For months now, the cost of food has been rising and people are having a difficult time buying food and finding jobs in this pandemic. Recent catastrophes like the African swine fever outbreak and the tropical cyclones have wiped out the crops. Some kind-hearted people have set up community pantries to help residents who are unable to buy food and feed their families. Philippine International Aid... (www.phil-aid.org), has launched a matching fund of $50,000 through the support of several donors to provide food and hygiene packages to about 2,500 children and their families not only in Metro Manila but in other provinces as well. We will match every dollar up to $50,000. This means your gift of $100 becomes $200...and if you give $500, it will be matched to become $1,000. Will you help us save the children from starvation? Your gift makes all of our work possible. THANK YOU. Ways to donate: 1) www.phil-aid.org/donate. Click on Matching Fund for COVID-19 Assistance; 2) Paypal send to [email protected]; and 3) Send a check payable to Philippine International Aid, 1813 El Camino Real, Suite 3, Burlingame, CA 94010. Designate that your donation is for the Matching Fund.

This is one of the projects we funded recently.
The generosity of those who gave their time, talent and donations at the PIA 2020 Giving Hope to Children virtual concert continue to bless and help the more than 250 children impacted by Covid-19 in Cavite, Muntinlupa, Alabang, Quezon City and Zamboanga. This is in addition to the 1,725 children that already received assistance in July. Thank you to all who participated. If you want to learn more or get involved visit www.phil-aid.org
