Good evening and I hope you all are doing good here at the end of this year. I know the last two years weren’t good for us and by us at our dive shop. I got hit with a bad case of bone infection in my foot due to a bad tooth of all things. It took me 18 months to clear that infection and get to where things quit hurting. Then the wonderful set up with the covid crap has screwed the rest of the year. Well, I am finally healthy and am getting my training done and hopefully will... get my instructor license in March. Our local instructor has three people that will be getting their diving class started so if you want too, call me and we can add you. If there is anything else you need, please let me know and I can take care of that for you. Again, thank you everybody for your patience, thoughts, and cares. Good morning and welcome to the Christmas and New Year time. We are here hoping that you all have an awesome time with your family and hopefully not dealing with our great covid issues. Speaking of covid, my leader, trainer, friend, Ray Bullion is dealing with this great illness and was released from the hospital and is now home beginning to recover. Please, everybody, keep your thoughts and prayers out there for everybody to either stay away from this stuff or recover from it. Good evening everybody. Today was a very long day. I went to my training for Divemaster and worked my tail off. I am working on getting my Divemaster and then my instructor license and our shop will then be able to help everybody in a better way. THIS SATURDAY: So it is officially official!!! We will have the first responders cruise on Saturday June 13th everyone meet up at 9:30 A.M. at the old Kmart/government building on Henderson behind Jack N the Box let everyone show up and at about 10:00 A.M. give a speech and let everyone know the route we will be taking. We will make our way through town and end up at the Porterville Police Department around 11:00A.M. or so. Please be respectful, no speeding, running re...d lights, and when we arrive at PPD do not block any access for our first responders into or out of the PD or fire dept. At the police department we will all exit our vehicles and gather out front of the main entrance on the sidewalk/grass area of PPD where we will hopefully be accompanied by, PPD, TCSO, PFD, TCFD, CHP, Imperial Ambulance, and Sierra View personal. While at PPD we will hold a prayer for the well being and safety of our first responders then depart from there and that will conclude the cruise. The ONLY things I ask is there is to be ONLY the American flag, blue line flag, red line flag, and yellow line flag to be flown, thank you signage to our first responders on your car or truck is applauded, absolutely NO political flags or attire, and NO protesting! Phillips Pool Supply is OPEN for all of your pool sanitation needs. We are going to try to run our normal hours this week and beginning next week, we will go to a "virtual" store for you. You can call the store number and reach Bob and order whatever you need. We can do a card over the phone or payment upon delivery. We are continuing to service our weekly customers and perform our spring clean ups and filter cleans in preparation for the summer.
