"I adopted Ella from Oakland Animal Services on January 20th, 2018. I checked her adoption profile every day for two months to see if she was still available. I wasn't sure if I was ready to take a dog on, but I realized how heartbroken I would be if someone e...lse adopted her. I just had a feeling - she was supposed to be my dog. That bond I felt through the computer screen was everything I thought it would be and more! Since the day I brought Ella home, we've been inseparable. We love going to the beach, hiking, long car rides down the coast, and camping - she even likes going to work! She's been there for me through the good and the bad (looking at you 2020!).
