Device Donation Drive! Have a device like a smartphone, tablet or laptop lying around? Donate it to Partners for Potential. We’ll clean, reset and update your device and pass it on to an individual with intellectual/ developmental disabilities. During this State of Emergency many of our program participants are lacking the technology to stay connected while staying Safer at Home. We need your help to provide them with devices to maximize support from our staff, have access to... participate in our online classes, and maintain connections with their friends and families. Requirements for donated devices: -small/medium sized devices including smartphones, tablets -less than three years old -in good working order with no major cracks/damage -include a charger and any other accessories -are not carrier-locked -are not password-locked (including touch/face ID) Ready to donate a device you no longer need? Email us at [email protected] with a photo and/or brief description of your device. We'll provide you with a mailing address, drop off time/location or arrange a local pick-up. We’ll collect a bit of contact information in case we run into any device locks or other issues. We’ll provide a receipt for your donation and pass the device on to an individual with intellectual/developmental disabilities in need! Don't have a device to donate? You can still make a difference by making a cash donation to our program at http://www.partnersforpotential.org/support-us.html. We have many unexpected and costly expenses required in order to enhance our remote services and prepare for safely re-opening our in-person services in the near future. Any type of support is appreciated! Thank you and stay safe!

Representative Katie Hill and her team stopped by our location in Santa Clarita last week to talk with representatives of the disability community about our successes and challenges. We look forward to future conversations and collaboration toward ensuring the support and resources to assist individuals to live as fully as possible in their communities. Thank you Representative Katie Hill!

Dear Partners and Friends, Partners for Potential is participating in Giving Tuesday and we ask you to join the movement and support our efforts toward increasing job development for our consumers with autism and other intellectual disabilities. All of our consumers currently receive job training at some level, and this past year, more than 15 individuals participated in paid employment, some reducing their program days to work independently! Meaningful work is a true gift to... the people we serve. Due to increasing local minimum wage mandates, it is more challenging than ever to recruit and competitively compensate qualified staff to help create jobs and train our consumers. More than ever, we need support from our local communities and businesses. Any size gift is greatly appreciated, but to further motivate your participation, the first $1,000 raised will be matched by a generous donor! http://www.partnersforpotential.org/support-us.html Thank you for being a true partner for potential this holiday season. Your support makes a difference and is very greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays, Claire Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer
On this #givingtuesday please consider donating to Partners for Potential! Our growing programs need your support. And, since we're a non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible! Today some of our program participants got to witness four Special Olympic World Games athletes (from the US, Italy, Jamaica and New Zealand) run the torch through the Van Nuys Courthouse across the street with a team of volunteer law enforcement from around the world. Very inspiring!

Great news! Partners for Potential just received a $4,000 grant from the Employees Community Fund of Boeing to apply toward the extensive ADA renovation costs of our new site based program in Santa Clarita. Thank you Boeing employees! We still have a lot of funds to raise to get this program going! Call today if you would like to donate or help out.
