Serenity farms is looking for volunteers! Are you a 4H Student and you like to get more experience with animals? You have some experience training cows? Your main focus would be on working in Kenya and Nairobi - the two Watusi heifers to get them halter trained! If interested please contact 5307717150. Thanks Dr. Varga
You GOAT to be there!
Baby Asher is now a big boy! He is so special to me. Asher means happy/blessing and hence I decided I want him to give lots of happiness to people who need support. I donated Asher to http://Www.heartwooddetox.com He will be helping people with addictions to become healthier and happy. He will be in great hands!
When sunset and fire mix. Praying for all humans and animals that are in danger from the fires.
It’s so hot!!! While CamElla has a great time getting hosed off, I feel bad for my chickens. They have the hardest time with the heat! I make sure everyone has plenty of fresh water, shade and moisture in the pen to cool it down. Today was not even the worst day! Hopefully everyone goes through this heat unharmed!
Meet our two new girls! Hey!! Click Norris and Colonel sanders!!! They are 1.5 years old and super friendly! We are already in love with them!!!

I wish I had so much energy in the morning! Nairobi is running like crazy! Happy Sunday!!!
Everyone was so excited to see Nairobi! She had a blast running up and down the fence line to greet everyone!
Look at these 4 beautiful chickens!!! They are Bielefelder chickens and my son bought them for his little chicken project!
My chicken babies are getting biiiiiig! And the hairdo is getting bigger too! love this (hopefully) Girl! She is so cute! I could cuddle her fuzzy head all day long. She certainly does not appreciate it!
She has arrived!!! I decided to name her Nairobi! I can pronounce it better! I had to pick her up in my work truck and she decided to pee in it! Luckily no poop! Now it’s the challenge to get her on the bottle. Kenya never took the bottle when she was a baby. I had to buy her whole milk and warm it up and place it in a bucket. Let’s hope Nairobi is less picky!
I did not tell Kenya anything about her new sister..... let’s hope she will not be too jealous
