As we re-open our doors due to COVID19, we would like to inform all our patients that we applied some changes in our office to make sure that it will be safe for both you and our dental team. Part of this changes will be screening before you enter our office, face mask/face covering is required, social distancing should be practiced at all times. We try as much as we can not to have overlap on scheduling patients. For us to be able to accommodate you for your dental needs, pl...ease schedule your appointment ahead of time. Because of all the precautions that we are taking, we are allotting more time per patient so our ability to see patient in a day will be decreased dramatically. We suggest that if you are in a family, to schedule your appointment with your family if possible. Dearest Palladium Dental Care Patients, The new interim recommendation from the American Dental Association is that dentists keep their offices closed to all but urgent and emergency procedures until April 30 at the earliest. The rate of COVID-19 transmissions is on the rise in most states. The new interim ADA recommendation is in keeping with the recent U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation to perform only emergency or urgent dental care until Apri...l 30, 2020 and must be taken seriously by all dental professionals. The ADA believes individual dentists should exercise professional judgment and carefully consider the risks outlined in the ADA’s interim guidance and weigh those risks against any possible benefit to the patient, the practice employees, the community at large, and the practitioner. Critically important is the availability of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize any risk of transmission during emergency and urgent care. Due to the proximity of individuals during dental procedures, and the generation of aerosols, dentists, staff and patients are at high risk of transmission. Given the gravity of this current health care crisis and national emergency, the California Dental Association implores dental practices to suspend all dental care with the exception of emergency cases that present as life threatening. The purpose of this recommendation, consistent with the statewide shelter-in-place order, is to minimize the risks of virus exposure to patients and the dental team and to preserve critical ...health care workers’ personal protective equipment (PPE), which are currently in extremely short supply. Please be rest assured that we do miss all of you and would rather see you soon. If you would like to make future appointments, please do give us a call or leave us a message for it might be possible that we see you in limited circumstances after April 13, 2020. If this situation changes, we will adapt the recommendations accordingly. We believe from the bottom of our hearts that we will all get through this better, stronger, healthier and happier.
