Just unearthed a very early edition of The Grapes of Wrath (Second Print Before Publication). I found it at the bottom of a box that I had rescued from a storage locker!

Recently added a large number of vintage cook books. Found a very interesting memoir/cook book by Alice B Toklas, who had been Gertrude Stein’s longtime lover/companion (sorry, doesn’t include the Haschich Fudge.) Also, unearthed a very rare 1956 edition of Josefina Velazquez de Leon’s Mexican Cook Book for American Homes. Velazquez had her own cooking school in Mexico City and is still frequently referred to as the Julia Child of Mexican cooking.
