The Fountain Patio area is made possible through a partnership between the City of Oceanside - Government and MainStreet Oceanside, and provides monitored and sanitized additional outdoor seating options for Downtown restaurant customers. New hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday during the Oceanside Morning Farmers Market and Saturday, weather permitting. The patio is closed today because of the forecast of rain but will reopen tomorrow.

More than 400,000 people receive treatment for burn injuries each year, tragic accidents that young children are more vulnerable to than adults. To mark the seriousness of these injuries and honor the work of burn centers across the nation, first responders and patients who were impacted by these tragic accidents will be hosting a prevention booth at the Oceanside Morning Farmers Market this Thursday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to raise awareness about the importance of working to prevent burn injuries. Oceanside Fire Department wants to educate our community on commonsense steps they can take to protect themselves and those they love. Oceanside Fire Department thanks the first responders and health care providers who care for burn patients each and every day and looks forward to seeing you again at the Farmers Market tomorrow.
