Good morning, Oceanhills! Tune in and be encouraged today!

Oceanhills Covenant Church 25.06.2021

In this series, we've been reading the story of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15) from the perspective of the various characters in the parable. This week, Pastor Jon takes a closer look at the characteristics of the Father's compassionate, scandalous love. This, Jesus says, is the kind of love God has for those who come running back to Him!

A good word on staying in love through Christlike service from Pastor Jon and his wife, Nathalie, today!

Oceanhills Covenant Church 05.02.2021

In a special Valentine's Day Sunday Service, Pastor Jon and his wife, Nathalie partner up to give a message for all people in all stages of any relationship! We live in a climate of self-fulfillment and quick frustration. How can we self-sacrificial, patient lovers of people? Drawing from over 30 years of marriage and from the truths of Scripture, the Irelands share some insight for making love go the long haul.

This week has exposed brokenness once againin our country, in our relationships, and in our own lives. We condemn acts of violence and hatred. We need healing and reconciliation. We need justice and restoration. We need the peace of Christ to rule our hearts and minds. When we don’t have the words, we turn to Jesus. When we are hurting, angry, and exhausted, we run to Jesus. We are in desperate need of the Good Shepherd to lead us together. Lord Jesus, lead us to be quick to listen and slow to anger. Help us act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly. Give us wisdom on how to be peacemakers; agents of reconciliation; salt, hope, and light in the middle of a storm. Lord have mercy. Amen

Think about all the time that has seemingly passed us by. Think about all of the major events in the lives of people you love that you couldn't be there for this year. Does God care? What wisdom does he give us to navigate months and years when we feel purposeless, lost, insignificant? Author and speaker, Lori Short, brings us back into Isaiah 40:6-8, where God comforts his people with an unexpected word. Will you have the ears to hear it today? ... Oceanhills, although we are deeply saddened to not be meeting in the Rotunda this Christmas Eve, it's our pleasure as a staff to present to you this special Christmas service to watch with loved ones wherever you might find yourself this season. Our prayer is that, through these songs and sermons, the hope of Immanuel, God-With-Us, would shine bright into the conclusion of what has been an incredibly difficult year for all of us. Now, more than ever, we await the Savior of t...he world, Jesus. With love and gratitude, The Oceanhills Team

We are dangerously tired, mesmerized by culture, and stuck in an information blizzard. How does the Jesus way of life offer guidance through this moment in history? Come be refreshed as Pastor Jono teaches on the first "R" of our Oceanhills Trail Map, Rhythms. Rhythms - like silence, solitude, and sabbath - keep our souls alive in a world where they are under threat. Come find life with us in Jesus this season!... Question: What Spiritual Rhythm will you try this week? Solitude, Silence, Sabbath?

Today, we begin a new series entitled, "The Weary World Rejoices." This year has made many of us weary. Many of us feel as though we've been wandering through wilderness, not knowing when things will be back to normal or if "normal" even exists anymore. Pastor Jon walks us through Numbers 11 to pull some lessons from how God guided the Israelites through a wilderness of their own. Ever notice how some of Jesus' greatest discipleship moments happened as he took his followers outside their comfort zone? Pastor Jon examines the stories of Mount of Transfiguration, the disciples in the boat, and Emmaus road to find three lessons we can apply from Jesus-centered road trips. How will you respond? How has God used a road trip in your life to help you to grow & become more like Jesus? ... What road trip could you say Yes to go on in the next year and with who? What would it take for you to initiate & invite a few friends on a relational & spiritually minded road trip to help you all grow closer to God & each other?

We are devastated to inform you that we have to cancel church at the Polo Fields, tomorrow, Sunday November 15th.Earlier today the staff at the polo fields contacted us and let us know that, due to the recent surge in COVID, the county has created standards that we can no longer meet. Unfortunately, in light of this new information, we came to the hard decision as an executive team that our best option is to cancel this event. We really apologize for the inconvenience an...d sadness we know this will cause. All of our hearts are heavy and so disappointed we were so looking forward to worshiping together in such a special and unique venue. We are attempting to use every channel to get the word out, but if you are connected with someone who was planning to attend, and may not be reached by email, social media, or the Oceanhills app, please help us by communicating this change to them. Thank you for your understanding and support. In it together, Pastor Jon Ireland and The Oceanhills Staff

In the next installment of our new series, "COVID Clarity," Jon teaches from Matthew 28:18-20. What does it really look like to make disciples? What is the main purpose of the church? What is a true disciple of Jesus and how do we make disciples. Let's get super clear.

Oceanhills Covenant Church 06.01.2019

COVID Clarity is a new series all about purpose. What has God put you on earth to do? In the first message of the series, Jon starts with Matthew 28:18, where Jesus declares, "I have been given all authority," and asks us all: Who, really, gets the say in your life? Does Jesus have the authority?
