April Events The Ocean Beach Green Center will be celebrating our 32nd Anniversary on Earth Day April 22nd. We can't have our usual celebration this year but we will be open from 12:30 to 6:30 with Covid-19 protocols if you want to drop by and say hi! Hello From the Green Center! This has been an extremely long year for everyone! We hope this message is reaching you and you are seeing the light at this very dark tunnel. If anyone needs help, please be sure to reach out to us and we will do what we can to find resources for you. Or even just be an ear if you need one. Send a message here and we will do our best to get back to you ASAP. At the GC, we usually have three fundraisers throughout the year to ensure we have mo...ney for rent and various magazine subscriptions, movies for movie night (because ours are educational, there can be a viewing fee), a phone, and etc. This year we stopped all expenses except rent and the phone (which only costs $30 a month), to make it through this pandemic. Needless to say we have made it; with the help of some members and we are very grateful and wouldn’t have made it without you. At this time though we do need to ask for donations, but please only give if you have some to spare. Donations can be given on FB or to a Board member. Kip is usually outside the GC painting his signs and Colleen is going to be at the GC more, since we have made it down to Teir Blue. We are trying to figure out how to bring back movie night. We will be doing it outside in the backyard. Kip and the other tenants at Bell Estate have been tirelessly working on making the backyard inviting. It will be so nice to see everyone’s faces!
