It’s time to fundraise!! Our Epsilon Class is raffling off an Otamatone to help pay for their membership dues and also to move forward on their journey to brotherhood. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RAFFLE ENDS ON FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH AT 5PM PST! Covering some of their monetary requirements would be a huge relief for our candidates, so let’s help them out! #kkpsi #kkpsinusigma #calpolypomona #cpp

Our outstanding Vice President of Membership, Allegra, was honored with the Four Pillars Award at WDC this year! The award recognizes brothers who embody the values and ideals of our fraternity’s four pillars: musicianship, leadership, service, and brotherhood. We love you Allegra and this award could not have gone to a better brother #kappakappapsi #cpp #calpolypomona

Does Zoom University have you stressed? Us too! Our VPS and VPM have tons of tips and tricks that they’d like to share with you! Join us on Thursday, September 10 at 12PM PST for a workshop discussing how to stay focused during these wild times. Whether you are a music major or someone who plays more casually, THIS IS THE WORKSHOP FOR YOU!
Last but not least, we have our Alumni Secretary, Josh! He’s a music industry studies major, and is part of our delta class! His Eboard duties include collecting information about our alumni to pass on to national headquarters, and promoting alumni activities! Outside of the fraternity, Josh enjoys playing guitar, idolizing Bruce Lee, and hanging out with his big! Graphic credit: Alexa Castelazo
Meet our historian, Rebecca! She’s a 4th year English education major, and is the person writing this right now! Her Eboard duties include maintaining a written and pictorial record of the chapter, and running Nu Sigma’s social media accounts. Rebecca has spent the past few days celebrating One Direction’s 10 year anniversary and reminiscing about the fateful day that Zayn left the band. Additionally, she wants you all to know that it is in fact uncomfortable to write about herself in the third person. Graphic credit: Alexa Castelazo
Next is our Sergeant-at-Arms, Mary! She’s a fifth year music education major, and has experience on several instruments! Her Eboard duties include interpreting the constitution, managing rituals and ritual rehearsals, preserving order during meetings, and enforcing fraternity policies. Besides being our SAA, Mary is also our local Animal Crossing expert! She can identify almost every villager just based off of their physical description, and is the proud owner of a five-star island in New Horizons! Graphic credit: Alexa Castelazo
Say hi to our secretary, CeeCee! She is a food science and technology major, a former Nu Sigma President, and one of the best dang flute players we’ve ever heard! Her Eboard duties include taking minutes at our meetings, handling chapter correspondence, maintaining attendance records, and scheduling spaces for meetings and events! She is technically our first ever initiated brother of Nu Sigma! How lucky are we?!?! Graphic credit: Alexa Castelazo
Meet our treasurer, Alexa! She’s a fourth year mathematics major who really knows how to toot a clarinet! Her Eboard duties include controlling receipts and disbursements, keeping a record of chapter finances, and handling all things money. Besides being our treasurer, Alexa has several hobbies! She is a self proclaimed weeb and loves anime, video games, and kpop! She also claims that she can rollerblade faster than your mom. Maybe one day we will have to test that theory Graphic credit: Alexa Castelazo
Next up is our Vice President of Service! Denise is a fifth year music education major who uses her stellar flute playing to brighten several of the ensembles on campus! Her Eboard duties include scheduling, planning, and developing service events for Nu Sigma as well as leading the growth of musicianship within the chapter. Instrumental music isn’t Denise’s only talent though! She loves to dance and even leads Zumba classes on her Instagram lives! Graphic credit: Alexa Castelazo
Meet our Vice President of Membership! Allegra is a fourth year music industry studies major, and is an absolute BOSS on the french horn! Her Eboard duties include educating and training membership candidates, developing programming for the chapter, and presiding over chapter meetings when the president is unavailable. She enjoys eating her cereal out of cups instead of bowls, and can often be found with psyduck in her arms! In conclusion, Allegra is her name and brotherhood is her game!! First up is our president and local geology major, Vinny! He prepares the agenda for our meetings, is a member of all of Nu Sigma’s committees, and represents us when dealing with national affairs. When he’s not working on fraternity business, you can often find Vinny getting SWOLE at the gym, shredding in a practice room, or admiring rocks! Graphic Credit: Alexa Castelazo
It’s time to meet the 2020-2021 Eboard! Every day this week we will feature a different Eboard member and outline what they do for Nu Sigma. Be sure to thank them all for ensuring that we have a successful year of musicianship, leadership, service, and brotherhood during this era of distance learning! #kappakappapsi #kkpsi Graphic credit to Alexa Castelazo
Dear Brothers and Sisters of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, Nu Sigma stands in solidarity with our black brothers and sisters throughout the nation, our campus communities, and the entire black community.
