Dear horse owners, You know that smell of smoke in your nose? That deep breath that is hard to take? That feeling of let me get inside so I can breathe? You can get a break from the smoke...your horses cannot. Please consider not riding or exercising your horses when air quality is poor.There are some bad stuff out there that can get into their lungs! We love them too much for them to get sick. Put your horses well being first so you can rde and have fun with them another day!

Want to do something nice for your horses with this extremely hot weather? Make them a horsey popsicle to hang in their stalls or to place in their buckets. All you need is water, Gatorade or any other flavored drink that your horse likes. Then add some apple, carrots, molasses, grain, etc. Grab a plastic container that can be frozen. Mix the ingredients together. Put everything in the container and freeze. Then serve to your horses and watch them go to town! They will love it and it will help to keep them cool, too!
