Amazing day at the San Francisco Vegan festival. * * *... We got to see some of the most inspiring vegans in the movement promoting a compassionate and healthier lifestyle. It was also great to see the San Francisco vegan society making an effort to embody diversity and create space for more people of color to have a voice and be represented in the movement. With climate change and our resources depleting it is really important to get everybody on board and share ideas on how we can live more but take less from the world. This shouldn’t be just for the educated or the affluent but for all peoples including urban and communities of color. * * * We have high hopes for humanity. Let’s keep it goin’ humans . * * * Shoutout Grey the Rapper for closing out the festival with a dope performance, The Plant based brothers for their motivational talk and all the speakers, participants and organizers that made the event happen

What an amazing Saturday! my brother chef Jay-Ar Isagani and I got to serve the community of Denman middle school in San Francisco today at their community eve...nt celebrating a collaboration between the school and their partners by providing iPads and access to better technology for the students. Shout out to all my folks at Denman AP Lisa and lead teacher Kim and Mark Stephen for inviting us because Denman (and Balboa high school which is next to it) have a big Filipino American community so we appreciate them and Principal Teresa for having us to bring and serve delicious Filipino vegan cuisine to our young people, their teachers and their families.
