Volleyball Starts This Sunday! We are excited to announce that we have OFFICIALLY been permitted by the city to host outdoor volleyball training. Coach Daniel Hart and his instructors have been working on implementing protocols that will help reduce the potential transmission of COVID-19. What makes our volleyball clinics worth your time and money? First and foremost, we have gone far beyond other volleyball camps/clinics to ensure the safety of athletes and their families. W...e are doing the following: -Temperature Checks -Release Forms -Daily Coaches Screenings -Hand sanitizer on each court. -Sanitized Equipment. -Smaller group sizes. -Being outdoors will help with social distancing. -Our coaches will be wearing face masks. On top of the excellent protocols we have in place, the athletes will get a better experience having smaller group sizes. Smaller group sizes will ensure athletes receive more feedback from their coaches. During these clinics, we will be teaching athletes the six essential skills of volleyball. Those skills are pass, set, hit, dig, block, and serve. We will also be teaching the athletes how to compete. Our coaches are well versed in the game of volleyball and have experience coaching at the college level, high school level, club level, and youth level. With great regret, we received the following from the city: On Wednesday, July 8, 2020 the County of Orange issued a press release (see press release https://cms.ocgov.com/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx) which has rescinded the ability for youth sports practices and activities to resume under the Day Camp and Fitness Facility Guidelines. "At this time, youth sports activities including practices will be postponed until further direction is provided from the State.... Emails have been sent to those who had registered.
