You guys seemed to really enjoy the last post I did about Supporting Small Businesses so I thought I'd share more on the topic. What do you think? Most of us underestimate how much liking, commenting, sharing, and saving posts does for a small business. I know I did, until it became a bigger part of my business. So here is a breakdown of why each is important and how clicking these different buttons helps a business have REAL IMPACT on social media. ... 1) Like - Giving love to posts is a great way to tell their person who shared something of value you with you that you enjoyed it. Because they're beta testing getting rid of like counts its hard to say how much likes impact your business' overall reach. But they sure feel nice! AND most importantly help business owners quickly learn which topics to share more on and which to talk less about. 2) Comment - Share your thoughts! This is your chance to speak up, share your story, and send words of encouragement to the business owners you love. This is where a post can evolve into a conversation. Ultimately the businesses you love want to get to know you! So say hi! Get the party started! 3) Tell your friends! Sharing a post to your stories is a feature that is rumored to maybe go away in the future. Sharing posts is a great way to introduce your friends and family to the businesses you love. Small Business Owners be sure to check your posts for reshares so you can return the favor or at a very minimum say Thank you! 4) Save the Post! Saving a post tell the algorithm that this content is evergreen and will be revisited. This is one way to help your favorite accounts get boosted on the platform. So Save Away!
