Docent Lou Lavison is checking out the new exhibit.

The Nixon Library is utilizing the talents of the famous So Cal artist Ron Pekar who is creating part of the new exhibit recognizing the historic environmental initiatives of the Nixon years and the continued impact of the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Air Act, the Marine Mammal Protection Act and the Endangered Species Act. This exhibit will be officially dedicated on December 3. Ron Pekar works as a sculptor, painter, teacher and lecturer. Thousands of his w...orks are represented in corporate, museum, university and private collections worldwide. Learn more about him at www.ronpekar.com. He has recently completed large, bronze commissioned sculptures for the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Currently, he is developing paintings and sculptures for a series of exhibitions traveling throughout China. See more
