Modern baby in vintage dress. Photographing babies with maximum cuteness and minimal stress on the child so they don't grow up being offended by people with cameras. This one could not stay put, and wanted to take the camera out of my hands and do it herself. We love that independent spirit
Paige Kubiak who's my resident badass hero
When one has a near miss with fire, one starts uploading all the old CD's of photos to the cloud. Stumbed on this Senior Portrait shoot with @Eric Browning and his amazing mama. I always love including a few shots of the power women behind the scenes of a successful, charming teenager. Yes, teens are absolutely charming, I love this age and stage
2003, vintage tile, grainy film and a handsome boy
Finding my heaven is making people look their best and then capturing it on camera. Hair< Makeup, styling, and photography by Yours Truly.

Do that art, that expression, that performance, to the best of your ability. It doesn't matter if one person is watching or hundreds. In your authentic self, you find the wisdom and creation of God, the Universe, and the atomic. You have my permission to shine.
Sometimes a good photograph doesn't need any words. Thank you Yardly
A perfect day for skating the best stretch of highway on the coast of California. March 1984. World-record skateboarders, Jack Smith, Gary Fluitt, and Paul Dunn trying out the new pavement of Hwy 1 between Big Sur and San Simeon. The shot I really wanted to have the ocean in the background but that wasn't an option from this vantage point. It was the best I could do considering the speed that these guys were chewing up the miles. I anticipated as much as possible, scrambled up a steep hill, and waited. I'd love to see the frames before and after this shot to see how my eyes scanned the action before I had any formal training with a camera.
The Atascadero mini-photo studio is open. Who needs a big studio with photo shop and a green screen.
