I even felt this as a parent-infant and toddler class teacher when it would happen every 2 1/2 years or so that we'd say goodbye. And those goodbyes hurt but are so important to embrace. Thanks to Teachwire for this reminder.

Rock & leaf paintings: acrylic paint in a salad spinner. Then children drew on the rocks with leaves and eucalyptus pods.

Our carpenters have finished the porch and covered deck as we Covid-pivot to provide dry play space for the rainy season in Portland. We have a few more spaces in our morning or full day program.

We’re busy in Portland!

Our San Francisco NPG teachers, Indianna Hale and Jeneal Johns, are welcoming new children into our SF preschool class!

Jordan is starting work on our new sign for our Portland school! We have a few openings for children ages 4-9 in our new Portland school.

Despite the smoke we are persevering here in Portland. Our second new classroom is being built today!

Neighborhood Playgarden has openings in our preschool pod for children 3.5-5 years old. Nearly all of our time is spent outdoors in our cozy backyard or on hikes in the forest.
