This just in... Two Jupiter Synodic Cycles of 399 days are equal to 27 Moon Synodic Cycles (Lunations) of 29.53 days. Five Saturn Synodic Cycles of 378 days ar...e equal to 64 Moon Synodic Cycles (Lunations) of 29.53 days. Oh, and 18 Jupiter Synodic Cylces of 399 days are equal to 19 Saturn Synodic Cycles of 378 days. Now, what's that thing about 18 as the Moon card and Saros cycles and 19 as the Sun card and Metonic cycles again? The magic doesn't stop there, of course, but there's a little tour of the Crescent and the Cross. Lunations vary in length depending on Moon-Earth distance and Earth-Sun Distance and, of course, Jupiter and Saturn have elliptical orbits too.
