BSA GEC Troop 193

Our scout Robbie Deitz passed his Eagle review board last week. This was 2 weeks after his 18th birthday. In the 110 years of scouting they had never allowed a scout to get his Eagle Rank after their 18th birthday - until this year because of COVID. He is one of the first, if not the first scout in 110 years of scouting to be awarded his Eagle after his 18th birthday!

Every year since it’s opening the El Dorado county Veterans Memorial had scouts helping their Memorial Day ceremony. This year Troop 193 visited to let them know we did not forget them.

Life Scout Cody Bickel held a benefit concert as his Eagle Scout Project to raise money for Haiti180. Cody’s efforts and the generosity of many donors raised enough money to begin building a new home for teen orphans of Haiti.
