As National Charity League, Inc. Eastern Star Chapter has adapted to changes due to COVID 19, their philanthropy partners have as well. One of their original philanthropies, Tango Tab, had to make a major change. Known for weekly Feed the City events of gathering at local restaurants to assemble sandwiches for the hungry, they had to shut down operations and move to a "drop off" format. Each mother/daughter duo now assembles 20 bags at home. These bags contain 1 bottle of water, 1 Granola Bar, 2 tangerines in a Ziplock, and 1 pouch of tuna or an applesauce cup. The bags are then decorated with a positive message such as "You are Loved" or "Have a beautiful day!". #nationalcharityleagueinc #Philanthropy #mothersanddaughters #nclinc #nationalcharityleague

National Charity League, Inc. Rancho Irvine Chapter partnered with UCI Health to meet an acute local need. Members supported UC Irvine Health by sewing face masks for them to distribute. 49 chapter members served over 450 hours to reach their goal of providing face masks to the vulnerable elderly population & caretakers at 70+ local nursing homes throughout their county. #nationalcharityleagueinc #philanthropy #mothersanddaughters #nclinc #nationalcharityleague

Despite these uncertain times, National Charity League, Inc. Guilford Swallowtails Chapter members are making an impact in their community. Their members have made paracord bracelets for the military through Operation Gratitude, held a food drive to support the increased need in their community during the pandemic, volunteered for their local food banks, assisted with therapeutic horse riding for veterans and special needs persons, assisted in the creation of Enoughie Buddy headbands for The Kindness Campaign, and knit hats for their local NICU patients.

Today at 5pm PDT, NCL members are invited to join Project Glimmer's annual event, An Empowered Future, celebrating 10 years of helping thousands of young women grow personal confidence, meet positive role models and build a support network. Like NCL, Project Glimmer is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering every girl. Tomorrow's event features special remarks and performances from five accomplished and dynamic women who care, personally, about creating an empowered future for every girl.
