Our hope is to see infants in our community thrive. We are not yet there with black babies being born too small and too early, more frequently than any other race/ethnicity. Tomorrow our program will be partnering with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter to spread awareness of prematurity in the black community through a virtual event. To secure your seat on Zoom please visit: https://bit.ly/ZPAProg2020. ... For additional information please contact: [email protected]

Babywearing simply means carrying your baby with a wrap or device that leaves your hands and arms free. It has many benefits for both mom and baby, especially during what has been termed the "4th trimester", after birth. Thank you to all of the moms who joined our first virtual babywearing event! The event included learning about the benefits of babywearing, the different types of baby carriers, and a hands-on demonstration on how to put your baby in a wrap! Shout out to BIH staff LaKendra for facilitating this awesome event! #babywearing #beautifulday #bettertogether #BlackInfantHealth
