Most would imagine that a Realtors' success would be measured by their commissions earned, sales volume, or even number of awards. I used to think this as well before I became one. Truthfully, it's much more than this. My goal has always been to make the process as enjoyable as possible for each family while ensuring that I have their best interest at heart. Therefore, my measure of success is them, the families. If they are truly happy with how they were respresented, the...n I know we will stay in touch long after the transaction is over. I am proud to say that this is exactly what happens. I have been invited to many of my clients special occasions to include baby showers, birthday parties, gender reveals, house warming parties, graduations, homecomings and many more. I was even allowed to come visit a new baby boy at the hospital when he was born and just recently watched him celebrate his first birthday at the park surrounded by all his loved ones whom I had met before during the home search. Once, I even had a birthday cake for me at a client's daughters' birthday party because it was my birthday also (such a wonderful surprise). I don't know many realtors/people who can say that. It of course helps that a majority of my clients are military families, and as such we have a baseline for the friendships we develop. We have all gone through the hardships that serving our country brings and because of this I truly understand the kind of service they deserve when purchasing or selling a home. I cannot explain how grateful I am to have served all these families and for the friendships they have blessed me with the past couple of years. No surprise, but real estate is not an exact science. Sometimes it is so busy you can’t put down the phone and other times it’s just dead. After a few months on the market, this home finally got some serious interest this week. After multiple offers, she is now in escrow over the list price. patience and hard work pays off. Congrats to the sellers. They deserved this.
